ITALIAN FOR ENCHANTMENT

Italian for enchantment, Incanto and Incanto Stone designs were inspired by Italian art, the landscape, as well as Venetian history. The soft ripples of the Adriatic Sea are mimicked in the ruffle design, the stripe is reminiscent of the strong stately columns of Palladian villas along the Brenta River, the lace was inspired by the famed lace of Venice’s Burano Island, and the baroque style recreates the architectural curves of 17th century Europe. 

Francesco Venzo, the artisan behind Incanto and Incanto Stone, is also the mastermind behind other VIETRI favorites, such as Aurora and Forma. Francesco works in his ceramics workshop with his family in Veneto, Italy. Steeped in tradition but committed to innovative design, Francesco carries on his master artisan father’s heritage with handcrafted, original pieces. He hopes that one of his five children will someday carry on in the family legacy.
